Light Trailers Service & Repair

We are fully equipped to carry out service and repair of most light trailers.  The frequency of service for trailers depends on how the trailer is used (see below).

With over 30 years experience of working on trailers we are able to ensure your trailers is properly inspected, serviced and – if necessary repaired.  We are also able to offer a modification service for your trailer e.g. upgrading electrics, mudguards, stabilisers etc…

We can either carry out the repair on a mobile basis where we come to you or you can bring the trailer into our workshop.  Where necessary we are able to arrange collection and drop off for an additional charge.

We are often asked ‘how often should I service my trailer?’  As a rough rule of thumb we would recommend that new trailers are brought in early for their first service – perhaps after around 500 miles.  Beyond this we recommend an annual service or every 6,000 miles.  If the trailer is used for commercial towing then cut the time miles in half – that is 3,000 miles and 6 months.  This doesn’t apply to all scenarios and it is worth checking with your insurance company and using your own judgement depending on the type and frequency of use.
